Please Thoroughly Read Your Invoice. The addressee of the invoice will be the only recipient of invoices and is solely responsible to convey all information to all listed passengers. Passenger names must reflect full legal names as appears on passenger’s valid passport. Notify your cruise specialist immediately if any corrections are needed. Suppliers may charge substantial fees plus applicable fare increases for any name changes. (For immigration and customs purposes, it is essential that this information is accurate. Boarding airplanes or cruise ships may be denied if the information is inconsistent.) There is risk of cancellation by the supplier if the final payment is not received on time. Be aware that cancellation penalties may apply prior to the final payment date.
Agency Disclaimer: Cruise Holidays of Oakville, an independently owned and operated agency, acts solely as a general booking agent on behalf of the customer, for the purpose of processing bookings and reservations with various cruise lines and travel suppliers. Cruise Holidays of Oakville has no control over the travel suppliers, the fares charged for services, their policies and procedures, change in itineraries, the scheduling of their services, or their methods of providing services. Therefore, Cruise Holidays of Oakville shall not be liable or responsible, and is released of responsibility and liability, for any delay, inconvenience, loss or damage for personal or property injury, to any Passenger resulting from breach of contract or any acts or omissions on the part of any travel supplier, cancellation of any service by a travel supplier, any refund due from a travel supplier, any terrorist activities, civil or labor unrest, mechanical or construction defects or failures, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, or any other cause.
Air Package Pricing: Airline tickets and/or air tours/cruise packages purchased are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. I acknowledge that I may be charged additional sums by Cruise Holidays of Oakville to offset increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets, or any combination thereof. I hereby consent to any post-purchase price increases and authorize Cruise Holidays of Oakville to charge my credit card for such additional amounts.
Fees: Where a service is provided on your behalf over and above the main component of your trip, we will charge a non-refundable, per person booking fee for that service. The booking fee may apply to, but not limited to, booking air: Domestic $50 PP / International $100 PP, changes to any part of the booking: $25 PP per change, hotels, transfers, shore excursions, tours, car rental and rail $50 PP.
Cancellations: Any and all cancellations must be made in writing before the travel supplier’s penalty period begins. Please refer to the travel supplier’s terms & conditions for information regarding cancellation charges. Cruise Holidays of Oakville will charge a $100 per person administration fee for any cancelled reservations.
Cheque Payments: Cheque payments must be in the form of a certified cheque or bank draft. Cruise Holidays of Oakville reserves the right to assess a courier fee to ensure payment reaches the cruise line by the due date to avoid the possibility of cancellation.
COVID-19: You agree that it is your personal decision to travel, you are fully vaccinated, and you are doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions with regards to the risks of COVID-19. We have no responsibility for COVID-19-related requirements that travel suppliers and governments may impose from time to time, such as required vaccinations, health affidavit forms, COVID-19 screenings prior to departure or upon arrival, face coverings, or quarantines. Information provided by Cruise Holidays of Oakville is the most current information at that time and cannot be held responsible for changes to that information that they are not aware of.
Cruise Line Air: If you have purchased air flights as part of your cruise package from the cruise line you may or may not receive a non-stop itinerary. Cruise Holidays of Oakville does not have control over the airline or the flight schedule that you are assigned. The cruise lines reserve the right to assign airlines and schedules (including commuter flights and charters) at their discretion. In many cases seat assignments for cruise line assigned flights are not available until check-in at the airport. Any special requests for air travel must be made at least 120 days prior to departure date. The service is an ‘air customization’ and deviation charges are assessed per person, plus any fare differential. Regardless of whether you purchase the travel supplier or on your own, it is imperative that you reconfirm your flights directly with air carrier 72 hours and then again 24 hours prior to travel. Cruise Holidays of Oakville is not responsible for any flights provided either by the travel supplier or booked directly with the airline.
Entry to Another Country: Entry to another country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete. Living standards and practices at land destinations and/or ports-of-call may differ from those found in Canada.
Financial Condition of Travel Suppliers: We have no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of suppliers, and we have no liability for recommending a travel credit in lieu of a refund. Future Cruise/Trip Credits: FUTURE CRUISE AND/OR TRIP CREDITS: Cruise Holidays of Oakville has no say in whether a supplier issues a cash refund or future cruse/travel credit for cancelled cruises, air, land trips. Should a cruise be cancelled by the supplier and a future cruise credit is offered and accepted by you, Cruise Holidays of Oakville has no liability for the supplier’s failure to honour such future cruise credits. The same holds true in the case of future trip credits for cancelled air and land trips.
Guarantee Stateroom: If you have purchased your stateroom on a “guarantee” basis, your stateroom number will be assigned by the cruise line approximately three days prior to sailing or in some cases the day of sailing. Cruise Holidays of Oakville has no control over these stateroom assignments, it is strictly at the discretion of the cruise line. Please contact our office immediately if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.
Living Standards: Living standards and practices at the destination(s) and the standards and conditions there with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada.
NCF’s (Non Commissionable Fare) – formerly known as port charges are included in the cruise fare. Gov’t. Charges & Fees may include applicable air taxes, fuel surcharges, HST and/or PST on insurance.
Travel Documentation: It is each passenger’s responsibility to have all required documentation, including but not limited to: (1) government issued birth certificate and photo ID, or (2) valid passport and/or visa. Passports are recommended for all travel and must be valid for 6 months after return. All passengers assume full responsibility for inquiring and confirming passport, visa, vaccination, other entry requirements, safety and security conditions of destinations to be visited.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance provides protection in the event the trip is cancelled due to specified circumstances, as well as medical expense and baggage loss. Insurance is to be purchased at the time of deposit. If declining to purchase the insurance offered to you, please sign and return to our office the waiver form included.
Travel Supplier Policies: Travel suppliers’ brochures contain important information. Read travel suppliers’ policies concerning cancellation penalties. The “Taxes” category on the Travel Invoice includes air taxes, port taxes, departure fees, government fees and fuel surcharges if applicable. These costs are imposed by the suppliers and airlines and are subject to change until time of departure. Cruise Holidays of Oakville has no control over these taxes and fees and should they increase, your invoice will reflect this increase.
